           20 th GRADUATION DAY

             St. Xavier's College of Education, 

             Tirunelveli.

Usage:

            We were celebrated the 20 th Graduation Day in our college on 2 nd February 2024.That day, we were also invited 2018_ 2020, 2019_ 2021 and 2020 _2022 batches old students and their family members.Then, the meeting was conducted in the evening at 3.00 PM. Honourable Chief Guest St. Xavier's college of education, principal Rev. Dr. D.Thomas Alexander conveyed beautiful verse and distributed all batches students certificates. All the professors were invited for the convocation ceremony. Graduation day is the best function in our college. Finally, the college servours provided the snacks for all members.

            We were celebrated the 75 th Republic day in our college on 26th January 2023. That day, We were invited all Lectures and students.Then, the meeting was conducted in the morning at 09.30 AM. 

PONGAL DAY CELEBRATION

PONGAL DAY CELEBRATION _ 12.01.2024

          January is the first month of the year and to make the whole year greatful pongal day was conducted in our institution. Pots were busy in making sweet pongal. In between Rangoli competition was conducted in the topic "Pongal Theme" and Uriyadi was conducted for all boys in college and Lucky corner game was conducted for all  teaching staff, administrative staff and all girls in college.We all enjoyed a lot in this day. This day, College was very beautiful . 

Poem

  ON KILLING A TREE
- Gieve Patel

It takes much time to kill a tree,

Not a simple jab of the knife 

Will do it. It has grown 

Slowly consuming the earth,

Explanation 

            In the first stanza, the poet says that a simple cut does not destroy a tree; it takes a long time to kill it. A sudden rough blow of the knife will do nothing to the tree because it has grown up strong by consuming the earth slowly.

Usage:

            We were celebrated the Parents Teachers Association Meeting in our college on 16 th December 2023. That day, we were also invited all students ,Parents and Lectures.Then, the meeting was conducted in the morning at 11 AM. Beloved Chief Guest k.Winston Joshua conveyed beautiful verse about the founder of institutional,secretary and all lectures. Parents too made a part in this meeting and among them secretaries were selected and they were asked to convey feedback regarding the meeting.
